Live was a new product idea for Experts Exchange in 2014. It was built around the idea that we could help users get help instantly from experts in one on one situations. The initial launch of the product had many layers of complexity, specifically the chat interface and the consultant controls. This is a revised clean approach to the chat interface. Focus was on consolidating information into areas that users would expect to find the information.
